Education at All Hallows

Children's Education

All Hallows welcomes children and youth to worship and formation (education) opportunities each week.  Our staff is a dedicated group of teachers who volunteer their time to share their love and faith with the children.  We strive to welcome new children and their families throughout the year and invite you to join us as we learn about God's presence in our lives and infinite love for us.

Sunday School for children begins at 10:15am in the Parish House building behind our Brick Church.  Children will be escorted from Sunday School to the Brick Church to join their parents midway through the 10:30am Service.
On the Second Sunday of each month (excluding feast days) Sunday School classroom sessions will not occur.  Instead children will attend the entire 10:30am Holy Eucharist Rite II Service that is a Family Mass version every second Sunday, celebrated with a short homily geared at younger audiences.  It's a shorter service with children and youth learning about worship in the Episcopal Church by serving as acolytes, lectors, ushers and greeters.  The Second Sunday Family Mass occurs September through June and it has been one our most popular Masses, attended by all ages.

In addition to Sunday School activities, children of all ages are always welcome to attend our 8:00am Chapel or 10:30am Brick Church Services throughout the year. Children's bulletins, crayons, colored pencils, and paper are available in both the Chapel and the Brick Church.   Please ask an usher if you need any assistance.

All Hallows Nursery

The goal of the All Hallows Nursery is to provide children under three with a secure, entertaining, and comfortable environment while giving parents the chance to attend and enjoy the 10:30 service in the Brick Church.
The All Hallows nursery is open beginning at 10:20am on Sunday mornings and remains open for the duration of the 10:30am worship service in the Brick Church every Sunday.  It is located in the Parish House (the building next to the Brick Church) next to the women's restroom.  We have lots of toys and books for the children to play with!  Parents are welcome to stay in the Nursery whenever they would like.  If you have any questions about the Nursery or are interested in volunteering, please contact Katherine Lloyd, our Nursery Coordinator, at

Sunday School

We teach children Bible basics, differentiating between the younger grades and older elementary, giving older elementary students complex questioning and more advanced activities allowing them to take their Bible knowledge to the next level and relate it to their lives.  Music, stories, skits, puppetry, crafts, cooking, and games are some of the things children look forward to on Sunday mornings.

Christian Formation Opportunities For All Ages (September through June)

Lifelong Christian Faith Formation in the Episcopal Church is lifelong growth in the knowledge, service and love of God as followers of Christ and is informed by Scripture, Tradition and Reason.  Through the Episcopal Church, God Invites all people to enter into a prayerful life of worship, continuous learning, and to hear the Word of God through scripture, to honor church teachings, and continually spread the Good News of the risen Christ and ministering to all.

Almost every week you can find parishioners gathering after one of our Services at the Chapel or Brick Church for about 45 minutes to discuss various topics.  The sessions are usually lead by the rector or guest speaker and provide continuous learning opportunities for all.

Christian Formation Opportunities are generally held:
After 8:00am Service at the Chapel on the 1st and 3rd Sundays of the month.
After the 1030am Service at the Brick Church on the 2nd and 4th Sundays of the month.
Check our calendar to confirm the next Christian Formation opportunity.
